Three Circles Evangelism Tool

Share the Gospel.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the most profound reality of life. Many believers do not feel comfortable sharing the gospel with others. However, sharing it with someone can be as simple as drawing three circles.

Use this video to show your group how to use the Three Circles Evangelism Tool.

Use this video for Group Evangelism Training.

Purpose: This tool is designed to clarify the gospel and give individuals in your group a clear method to share the gospel with others. Three simple circles can give a framework for the saving work of Jesus Christ.

Scriptures:

  • Matthew 28:19-20 - The Great Commission

19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

  • 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Gospel Defined

  • Romans 10:9 - Steps to Salvation

Teach:

Say: How would you define the Gospel?

Why is sharing the Gospel with others important?

We will learn this tool to assist us in understanding what the Gospel is and how we can share it with others.

Watch or walk through the Three Circles presentation with your group.

***Be sure to be aware of the scriptures that go with each step of the Three Circles presentation.

Challenge your group to pray and pursue others who may not have a relationship with Jesus.

Group Action Steps:

The Gospel Defined: Gospel means “Good News”. The Gospel at its core is that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and resurrected again. We see this from Paul’s teaching to the Corinthians. Gospel means “Good News”

15 Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it. You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you—unless you believed for no purpose. For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

How does one receive Salvation? - If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Have each member of your group follow along as you watch the three circles presentation. Use this as a framework for Gospel conversations. Encourage the members of your group to intentionally pray, seek, and have a conversation with someone who does not yet have a relationship with Christ.

Encourage the individuals in your group to download the “Life on Mission App”.

Questions to ask:

  • Before today, did you have a clear definition of the Gospel? What about Salvation?

  • What are some areas of brokenness we see in our world or in your relationships?

  • Who is one person you can begin to pray for and share the Three Circles with?
